Tribal Internet Projects chooses Babunga as new name for network of family websites - January 1, 2008
's-Hertogenbosch - Tribal Internet Projects consolidates their sites under a brand new brand name: Babunga BV. In 2003, when Tribal Internet Marketing began a project to become a player in the market for family websites and internet content, little did they know how far that challenge would take them.

"During routine keyword research, we discovered that the subject of baby names was incredibly popular, and listed among the most popular keywords used in search engines“ said Tribal Internet Projects/Babunga BV. co-founder and leader of development, Wouter Vergeer. "This is where the idea of BabyNamesWorld.com came from."

The success of Babynamesworld.com was so great, that it lead to further expansion and an exploration for new ideas to appeal to the online parenting and family sector. Tribal launched PetNamesWorld.com, which was also wildly successful, and more recently Wikiparenting.com and 3DPregnancy.com. The continued success of these sites cemented Tribal’s place in the market and called for a few changes, as well.

In 2005 the decision was made to create Tribal Internet Projects as a publisher of these family centered websites, as their growth and success required the focus and capacity of a dedicated company. Now, the network of sites will be consolidated under the brand name Babunga BV, which is an official trade name for Tribal Internet Projects.
